PERIMENOPAUSE BETTER

Your body is changing.

The way you care for it should change, too.

An evidence-based exercise and lifestyle program designed to help you understand your changing body, feel better through perimenopause, and build strength and health for the years ahead.

Everything in one place.

8 weeks of progressive strength training and mobility, combined with practical education and strategies for nutrition, sleep, stress, mental health, pelvic and sexual health, body composition, and more.

Does it feel like your body suddenly changed the rules?

Maybe you're doing the same things you've always done… but your body isn't responding the same way anymore.

Your energy feels different.

Your sleep has changed.

You have more brain fog and less mental clarity.

You feel more anxious, overwhelmed, irritable, or simply not quite like yourself.

Your body composition is changing, and losing weight may feel harder than it used to.

Your workouts don't feel the same.

You may be experiencing joint discomfort, hot flashes, changes in your periods, or pelvic floor and sexual health symptoms you weren't expecting.

And with so much conflicting information about perimenopause, you're left wondering:

What does my body actually need now?

You're not imagining these changes.

Perimenopause is a significant physiological transition.

As your hormones begin to fluctuate and eventually decline, those changes affect much more than your menstrual cycle.

They influence sleep, mood, brain function, body composition, muscle and bone, pelvic and sexual health, and the way your body responds to stress, food and exercise.

Yet most women enter this stage with very little preparation.

I did too!

Despite more than a decade of working with women, a Master's degree in Sport Science, and my education and experience in women's fitness, even I wasn't prepared for the profound physical, mental, and emotional changes of perimenopause.

And perhaps most frustrating of all:

What had always worked for my body suddenly stopped working.

I had to reassess and adjust how I exercised, ate, managed stress, and supported my body.

That experience led me to further my education in perimenopause, and ultimately spend more than a year researching, learning, filming, and creating the program I had been searching for myself.

Perimenopause Better.

A better way through perimenopause.

I created Perimenopause Better to cut through the confusion and bring the pieces together in one place.

Because supporting yourself through perimenopause isn't about finding one perfect workout, supplement, diet, or morning routine.

And it isn't about trying to control every symptom.

It's about understanding what's changing and building a toolbox of strategies you can use to support your body through this transition.

Perimenopause Better combines two essential pieces:

MOVE BETTER

8 weeks of progressive strength training + mobility

A structured, progressive exercise program designed to help you build strength, maintain muscle and bone, move well, and feel confident in your changing body.

You'll complete 3 strength workouts per week, progressing through four 2-week phases so you can gradually build on what you've learned and get stronger over time.

Mobility work complements your strength training to support joint movement, body awareness, and how your body feels both during exercise and in everyday life.

Throughout your workouts, I'll also help you understand breathing, pressure management, core and pelvic floor function, exercise modifications, and how to adjust when your body needs something different.

This isn't about exhausting yourself.

It's about training with purpose.

LIVE BETTER

Understand what's changing—and what you can do about it.

Alongside your workouts, you'll learn about the many ways perimenopause can affect your physical, mental, and emotional health.

More importantly, you'll learn practical strategies you can actually apply to your life.

Because information is useful.

Knowing what to do with it is what makes the difference.

Everything you need to navigate perimenopause with more confidence

UNDERSTAND YOUR HORMONES

Learn what's happening as estrogen and progesterone begin to fluctuate, why symptoms can feel unpredictable, and how hormonal changes can affect different systems throughout your body.

We'll also discuss hormone therapy so you can better understand the conversation, your options, and the questions you may want to discuss with a qualified healthcare provider.

BUILD & PROTECT MUSCLE

Muscle becomes increasingly important as we move through midlife and beyond.

You'll learn why strength training matters, how to train progressively, why recovery matters too, and how exercise and nutrition work together to support muscle and long-term health.

And you'll put that knowledge into practice throughout your 8-week strength program.

SUPPORT YOUR BONES

Perimenopause is an important time to think about bone health.

You'll learn how hormonal changes can affect bone and how strength training, appropriate impact, nutrition, and other lifestyle factors can help support strong bones for the future.

MOVE BETTER & SUPPORT YOUR JOINTS

If your body suddenly feels stiffer or your joints don't tolerate exercise the way they once did, you're not alone.

We'll explore some of the changes that can happen during this stage and the role strength, mobility, recovery, and movement can play in keeping your body capable and resilient.

NOURISH YOUR CHANGING BODY

Nutrition during perimenopause doesn't need to mean another restrictive diet.

You'll learn how to nourish yourself to support energy, muscle, bone, metabolic health, and body composition.

We'll talk about protein, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, and other practical nutrition strategies—so you can focus on what matters without making food another source of stress.

IMPROVE SLEEP & RECOVERY

Sleep can become much more challenging during perimenopause—and poor sleep can make almost everything else feel harder.

You'll learn why sleep may change during this stage and practical ways to improve your sleep environment, habits, and recovery.

Not because perfect sleep is always possible.

But because small improvements can matter.

BETTER UNDERSTAND STRESS & YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM

Your ability to tolerate stress can feel different during perimenopause.

We'll explore the connection between stress, your nervous system, sleep, mood, recovery, and physical symptoms—and you'll learn practical strategies to help your body shift out of a constant state of overwhelm.

SUPPORT YOUR BRAIN & MENTAL HEALTH

Brain fog. Forgetfulness. Difficulty concentrating. Anxiety. Mood changes.

These experiences can be unsettling—especially when you don't understand why they're happening.

You'll learn more about how perimenopause can affect your brain and mental health, along with lifestyle strategies that can support brain function and emotional well-being.

UNDERSTAND YOUR PELVIC FLOOR

Pelvic health is part of whole-body health.

We'll talk about leaking, urgency, pressure, prolapse symptoms, breathing, posture, constipation and bathroom habits, pressure management, and the role your hips, glutes, core, and pelvic floor play together.

And rather than treating the pelvic floor as something you simply need to “strengthen,” you'll learn how it functions as part of your entire system.

SUPPORT YOUR SEXUAL & VAGINAL HEALTH

Changes in estrogen can affect vaginal and urinary tissues, comfort, lubrication, libido, intimacy, and sexual function.

These symptoms are common—but they're often barely discussed.

We'll talk openly about what's happening, what lifestyle strategies may help, and when it's worth having a conversation with your healthcare provider.

UNDERSTAND WEIGHT & BODY COMPOSITION

If your body is changing despite doing many of the same things you've always done, it can be incredibly frustrating.

We'll look at the bigger picture behind body composition during midlife—including muscle, movement, nutrition, sleep, stress, and metabolic health—so you can move away from quick fixes and focus on strategies that support your health long term.

No extremes. No quick fixes. No impossible wellness checklist.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned through my own experience with perimenopause is that doing more isn't always the answer.

You don't need to change everything overnight.

You don't need to eat perfectly.

You don't need to exercise every day.

And you don't need to turn taking care of yourself into another full-time job.

Throughout Perimenopause Better, we'll come back to four fundamental areas again and again:

Movement. Nutrition. Sleep. Stress management.

They interact.

And small improvements in one area can make it easier to improve another.

The goal is to build habits and strategies you can actually sustain—not just for the next 8 weeks, but for the years ahead.

This isn't about trying to get your old body back.

Your body isn't the same body you had at 25.

And it doesn't need to be.

The goal is to understand and support the body you have now while building a strong foundation for the decades ahead.

For your muscles.

Your bones.

Your heart.

Your brain.

Your metabolism.

Your pelvic health.

Your mental health.

Your independence.

And your quality of life.

Perimenopause isn't only about managing symptoms today.

It's an opportunity to invest in your future health.

Hi, I'm Julie.

I'm a women's fitness trainer with a Master's degree in Sport Science, specializing in perinatal and perimenopause.

I've spent more than a decade helping Mothers build stronger, more functional bodies - and then perimenopause challenged much of what I thought I knew about my own.

Perimenopause Better grew from my determination to feel better!

I've spent more than a year researching, filming, and bringing together the information and strategies I wish I'd had when my own symptoms began.

And today I'm incredibly excited to share it with you.

Imagine knowing what your body needs again.

Having clarity on what to focus on instead of trying every supplement or new piece of advice you hear.

Learning how to exercise in ways that support your body and long-term health.

Understanding how sleep, nutrition, movement, recovery, stress, and your hormones interact.

Feeling more comfortable about your pelvic and sexual health.

And feeling more confident making decisions about your health because you finally understand what's happening.
